Cookie Policy
Last updated 25 October 2026
This site doesn't use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. Cloudflare, which protects the site, sets one security cookie, and the site keeps two small items in your browser so the quote form and this notice work.
What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies and browser storage are small pieces of information a website keeps in your browser, for example to remember a setting. Some are needed for a site to work; others track you across sites for advertising. We only use the first kind.
What is stored in your browser
| Name | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
cf_clearance |
A security cookie set by Cloudflare, not by us. It records that your browser passed Cloudflare's automatic check that you're a person and not a bot, which protects the whole site from bots and attacks. It isn't used for advertising or to follow you to other sites. | Usually 30 minutes |
quote-draft |
Keeps what you've typed in the quote form, so you don't lose it if the page reloads or the security check fails. It stays in your browser and isn't sent to us until you send the form. | Until you send the quote or close the tab |
cookie-notice |
Remembers that you've closed the cookie notice, so it doesn't appear on every page. | Until you clear this site's data |
Other services on this site
- Cloudflare delivers and protects this site. On every page it runs a small script that checks whether a visitor is a person or a bot, and sets the
cf_clearancecookie described above. On the quote form it also runs Cloudflare Turnstile, which may use cookies or similar technology inside the check. Both are only for security, not for advertising. Cloudflare may also hide email addresses on our pages from spam bots; a small script shows them again in your browser. See Cloudflare's privacy policy and Cloudflare's list of cookies. - Google Fonts supplies the fonts. Your browser downloads them from Google, which receives your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.
- Facebook, Messenger, Instagram and Google Maps appear only as links. They don't set anything until you open them, and then their own policies apply.
How to control them
You can see and delete cookies and site data in your browser's settings. If you block Cloudflare's cookie or scripts, Cloudflare may ask you to complete a check before showing a page, and the quote form can't run its security check. In that case, email [email protected] or message us on Facebook instead.
Everything listed here is needed for the site to work and stay secure, so we don't ask for consent before using it. If we ever add cookies that aren't needed, such as analytics, we'll ask for your consent first and update this page.
